The machine gun quickly suppresses infantry formations within 2 seconds, dealing 15 damage per hit. It rapidly reduces the durability of light and medium mechs, inflicting 5 damage per bullet in a long burst, which can reach up to 75 damage to light mechs and up to 30 damage to heavy mechs. The machine gun does not require reloading, only a short interval between bursts, and is capable of firing at close range, ignoring melee engagement. Infantry risks being killed when near the machine gun.
At the second veteran level, burst damage reaches 98 points to light mechs and 39 points to heavy mechs. Each bullet deals 22 damage to infantry. It is recommended to use veteran units to control resource points, block flanks, and secure routes. The machine gun’s mobility allows for attacking mechs from a safe distance.
The machine gun is vulnerable to infantry flanking maneuvers and cannon weapons, as well as artillery. Frontal armor protects the crew from bullets. The most dangerous enemy for the machine gun is a cannon, which will not allow even retreat.
