Flamethrower Capabilities
The Ognivo’s dual flamethrowers swiftly incinerate any infantry clusters with very high damage, preventing the enemy from taking cover or staying in place. If not reacted to in time or if infantry is inadvertently brought too close, they will likely be eliminated in a matter of seconds.
Limitations
However, the flamethrower is incapable of dealing serious damage to other light mechs. Additionally, the flame jet is directed at a single point, allowing the enemy to dodge the attack.
Vulnerabilities
The Ognivo is highly vulnerable due to its slow speed, particularly when retreating. It is recommended to use it for defending specific sections of the map with resource points, especially in areas with sharp turning angles or numerous objects that obstruct firing at it.
Veteran Advantages
Aim to bring it to the first veteran level, as the necessary ability is unlocked, significantly increasing the firing range at the cost of a slight damage reduction. With this ability, it is possible to conduct small assaults on positions and effectively eliminate even anti-armor units.
Support and Tactics
Do not forget about the Ognivo and do not leave it unsupported, as it can be destroyed by other mechs.
