Dieselpunk-style giant walking machines. In the story, Mechs were developed during the Great War. After the war, they continue to serve, becoming an everyday phenomenon of modern society and innovation.
Mechanized Units by Faction
Each faction has mechanized units that differ in configuration and special abilities. For example, Rusviet mechs are relatively slow but very heavily armored, while Saxon mechs have greater firepower but are expensive.
Some mechs have special abilities. For instance, the SHM-68 Anvil deals area damage, while the PZM-16 Nosidelko can carry an infantry squad. This squad will fire as if they occupied a building.
The game features around 30 different mech types, ranging from giant super-heavy war machines to relatively fast mechs, as well as infantry units in exoskeletons. They all fulfill specific roles and provide players with various options in combat, but none excel in all situations. Each mech can be brought down by smaller, cheaper units when players devise the right tactics. Mechs are typically produced in the workshop.
Mechs of the Republic of Polania
Mechs of Rusvet
Mechs of the Saxon Empire
Notes
- Many mechs have weaker armor on their backs.
- Parts of a mech can be damaged with items like explosives.
- Enemy mechs can be captured.
- Some mechs can also fight not only against other mechs but also against infantry units.
