Polanian Grenadier - A Unit Of Republic of Polania. The squad is armed with rifles. As an additional weapon has grenades. An extremely effective tool against enemy manpower located behind the shelter.
Tactical role
The Grenadiers are the key assault unit of the Regiment, designed to overwhelm the enemy in close combat. Armed with rifles and hand grenades, they effectively neutralize manpower hidden behind barricades, as well as destroy engineering structures: barbed wire, sandbags and light fortifications. Grenades deal significant damage to vehicles (except heavy mechs) and can destroy an exoskeleton or artillery crew when thrown accurately.
Application Features
Grenade as a control tool: A point-blank throw gives the enemy less than a second to react, which often results in the loss of a squad or critical damage. Grenadians are also used for "ambush tactics" — for example, attacks from around the corner at approaching vehicles. Early Game Effectiveness: At the start of a match, Grenadiers are able to turn the tide of clashes by destroying enemy hideouts and capturing key battle points. Adaptability: Like all infantry in the Regiment, Grenadiers can change their specializations by picking up weapons from the battlefield (machine guns, anti-tank weapons), but their uniqueness lies in the ability to find additional grenades in weapons boxes.
Restrictions
Despite their versatility, grenadiers are vulnerable in open combat due to the lack of long-range weapons. Their effectiveness plummets against heavy armored vehicles and organized defenses with artillery support.
Veteran improvements
As their experience increases, Grenadiers gain access to tactical upgrades:
- Increase the range of grenades.
- Reduced throw preparation time.
- Ability to carry additional grenades or combine them with light anti-tank charges.
Like any other infantry unit, grenadiers can change their infantry class by picking up weapons from the ground.
