Following unfavorable surrender terms in the Great War, current sentiments in the Empire are sour, with proud elites and humiliated aristocrats secretly opposing the imperial policy of appeasement.
The inspiration for the Saxon Empire is a group of Germanic and Anglo-Saxon states, such as Germany, England, and similar nations.
